omg who cares if this is a MH rip off? MH is a Phantasy Star Online rip-off if you put things in those terms.

  2. oODaFreakOo on August 31st, 2011 06:48

Only similarity between Gods Eater and MH is that there are big monsters in it and u hack and slash. Other than that it’s its own game.

  3. rockthat3 on August 31st, 2011 06:48

I really think this game isn’t trying to compare itself with the MH series, heck I don’t even think this game is trying to out do it either. For me Gods Eater is just a game trying to create an image for itself. So before some of you haters judge this game, rate it first without comparing it to any other game then judge after that.

Hey, it’s just me. I play both MH series and Gods Eater. Both are very cool!

“I’ve played both”.So when i say GOD EATER is BETTER I know what i’m talking about.MONSTER HUNTER has a wider variety of monster’s BUT the monster’s(Aragami) in GOD EATER are just wayy more AWESOME and carry a wider variety of attacks which makes the game even more exciting than MONSTER HUNTER. However in terms of the different areas which are provided to explore and battle i say MONSTER HUNTER wins. However story based GOD EATER wins. I wud give GODEATER – 8.5/10 and MONSTER HUNTER -7/10

ever wonder what it would be like to fight 3 guys with megaman boss move sets and kdh final mix health bars……god eaters….that sucks about as much as youd imagine…go play monster hunter its better….hell go play disgaea atleast the grind in that is fun

@erikgmez Too true. When this video first starts, the guy says something about if you play Monster Hunter, you would naturally compare it to Gods Eater: Burst. I immediately thought, “No, if you played this game, you would laugh at how easy it is comparatively.” It is a fun little diversion if you’re at a frustrating point in MH, though.

I find monster hunter much more dificult, but i love the story of this game

Just finished this game and it is good. The game does get harder the more you play so don’t think this is an easy game (there’s also dlc you can get to challenge yourself). It may look like a monster hunter ripoff but it’s not, weapon types and shooting bullets are different compared to Monster Hunter (I also play MHFU and Portable 3rd). Another feature is the ability to consume a monster to use its abilities against them. The only downside to this game are the lack of variety of monsters.

@Hulkmania316 this game is not better than monster hunter , actually they rip off monster hunter with god eater but there is a new monster hunter coming soon : and it’s called monster hunter portable 3rd- this is the Japanese version of the game and they have made a big deference.

    @hul

Is this game better than monster hunter? that is the question.

  12. ReignTsrakti on August 31st, 2011 06:48

This game isn’t a ripoff of Monster Hunter! Whenever I see that I want to tell people they’re saying Little Big Planet ripped off Mario too. Look at the similarity between LBP and Mario, then at GEB and MH and tell me what you think. And at least you have a reason to beat GEB, to finish the story and find Lindow.

I think its badass that a sword can eat monsters.

  15. MegaNextgengamer on August 31st, 2011 06:48

That game is awsome, If any game is just like monster hunter but more cooler, God Eater Burst is at the top of my Best Game List

  16. DanielDanteThe2nd on August 31st, 2011 06:48

I dont get why people call this a ripoff it had a prequel and it has been in production alongside Monster Hunter Tri how could it be a ripoff if its a sequel to a game and even has a manga… if it was a ripoff it would be a standalone game….

@erikgmez true, but it’s still a bit aggravating. even with the AI buddies, it’s still aggravating… mostly at the times where alisa will not stop hitting me with mortars!

  25. gadgaurd on August 31st, 2011 06:48

@zenosuke14 I asked my mom about the name, and apparently that’s “Using the Lord’s name in vain). It’s a sin, according to the bible, and she said she doesn’t even like the new name, lol. Being the only Atheist in a Christian/Catholic family is tough, seeing as I have had to lie for the last 10 years.
