   2GB of RAM
   ati radeon HD 2600XT 1024Mb
   windows xp profesional sp3 32-bit
   and the game(gta4) often freezing
   what should i do??

   i got the hd 2600 xt and my gta4 that i just bought is SUPER SLOW delay in reactions, to think it could be like this… good thing im taking a computer class

   I have Radeon 2400 hd XT as well! And 3gb RAM, but its still very laggy. I cant complete shooting quest and stuff cuz i cant aim properly with the lag. T_T

   Yeah, it way good enough. The game will play excellent. I have 1gb RAM, and the same graphics card and it works well and only lags when I have other stuff open. Otherwise works well. So yeah you will be able to play it well.

   Yeh, but Pent 4s with HT still use more power & need higher clockrates to do the same job….. a 2ghz core 2 duo will always outperform a Pent 4

    i guess you are talking about Pentium 4 with HT, because normal pentium 4 are single core without any kind of Threads.

    btw, normals Duals core are just 30-35% better than pentiums 4 @ 3.8 ghz with HT (it was a example)

    Pentium 4 is single CPU with 2 threads… its not a dual core., I doubt you will get more than 15fps even on low…..

    only problem is i get 15-20 fps can someone tell me how to get more fps like what should i put all the settings at
