I’m just curious: do you wear hornrim glasses and use a Macbook in coffeeshops?

    Great idea though.

what about printing out the label and stick it to the package instead of printing out the grid? Then you photograph that look realistic too or not?

a tripod, and lighting putting on and taking off the printed out grid

or he used some puddy stuff, and stuck the bottle to the table

  7. alexleecheeseng on September 27th, 2009 02:01

Let me rephrase that. How did he managed to take them with almost exactly the same position?

  9. spriteisawesome on September 27th, 2009 02:01

He took two photos… one with the grid print out on the bottle and one with out…

  10. alexleecheeseng on September 27th, 2009 02:01

How do you managed to take 2 different photos with and without the grid?

    Great Job!!

Hey man, thanks for the tutorial!
By the way, where did you get or where can you find the RECTANGULAR GRID? The first one that you placed? Can anyone tell me? Please reply. Thanks!

  22. mixtapehell on September 27th, 2009 02:01

I thought this was very clear and easy to understand. And it shows some fun ways to play with smart layers, illustrator files, and warp.

However the part with the grid seems excessive (unless your planing on reusing the bottle and altering the label design). I think if you are able to take an image you could just as easily print out the lable and stick it on, instead of the grid, and shoot the finished product.

can you upload the photos of the bottles? please.

its CS2 that he uses…and if you weren’t able to pick up on that … well, you might not have CS2 yourself
it makes no different whether he uses mac or pc, just the interface changed slightly…
