    hey I have a shapeways account. (first website they showed). For them you just export a model out of your favorite 3d program as an .obj, maybe collida.

    eek! we’re becoming more robotic every day! cool design, great idea. how long does this take? i.e. the David like statue head? time may be considered before the death of manufacturing.. if it takes 6 hours for the sole printer to make the replica when a factory can produce the a similiar result in 2, the factory may still stand ground.. that is until they can modify the printing speed. wow this is great futurama life

    While the investment in materials might be high, consider the cost in creating moulds or dies in the alternative. This machine represents the future of manufacturing, I think. In that it saves a hell of a lot of money in the above mentioned costs with old methods in prototyping.
