Yes, but it’s a shame that 90% of those will be bought by obese Americans who are too lazy to walk on their own.

It would suck if it malfunctioned tho, you wont be able to control it, tho hopefully it will have safety stop etc. Also the battery is a little short for now, only 2 hours but this is an amazing step in to assisted tools for the handicapped (or injured. ) and for work enviorments!
Im pretty sure the power consumption will be fixed in the near future (perhaps a mix between solar power and new types of battery)
but at least we got the major concern out of the way, a working device :]

as along as you can actually put your full body weight on it then its awesome. id get one for long hikes like on vacation or going somewhere youre gonna stand for a long time, like a concert or a stadium.what would be even cooler if it extends out a backrest and a mode where instead of assisting beholding some weight,it acts like walking segway, primarily for when”parked”.would be the bomb if you could sleep on it. just set up restrooms and a messhall for a large manual labor force. sleep outside

Too all those youtube kids idiots, get some brain and come back…

Its a great product, many ppl have problems with legs, this can be great support to help them to walk.

  9. PyroTomas on August 9th, 2009 17:49

yeah well my legs are fucked up and i can move them, but the only felling they have in them in pain and pressure i cant walk because the force of my body pushing on my legs cause me to involuntarely collapse. something like this could allow me to walk without the use of crutches or a wheel chair once again.

    Laziness knows no heights.

  19. pcochenour on August 9th, 2009 17:49

I like the practicality of it all, but those shoes HAVE to go! I mean, put some penny loafers down there, or some kind of ankle high white patent leather zip up boots, and they would sell me on it.

  20. pcochenour on August 9th, 2009 17:49

Reduces load on hips, knees, and ankles…increases pressure on balls and sphincter.

  21. roguenoobkiller on August 9th, 2009 17:49

  22. xanzus on August 9th, 2009 17:49

  23. HelpSaveMotherEarth on August 9th, 2009 17:49

oh I know. I kent they should make it work for someone like that.

  24. goodoldjam on August 9th, 2009 17:49

I couldnt see it ever being used in a factory, but maybe a rehabilitation aid or something. I don’t think normal funtioning people should ever need to use something like this, unless it turns you into a human forklift.

  25. feedmytube on August 9th, 2009 17:49

because you have to be able to walk…it doesn’t walk for you it just take some of your weight.
