   Both. Though the deathmatch is more of a competition to get the rocket launcher.

   @Tailset Yes, GTA4 does have a multiplayer. There are various modes, one mode: Free Mode, allows you to do as you wish throughout the city.. Another is Death match, where, players keep killing each other and at the end, player with most kills, wins. So there is a variety.

    i have a question. does GTA 4 have a multiplayer? and if it does, is that multiplayer co-op in the city, or competetive killing each other type mode you find in games like MW2 and Halo 3?

    love it but only thing i have to put you down on is that when the car chase seen was going on the camera angles gave me a sore head but apart from that i like it!
