READ THE DESCRIPTION Finally, the first hours of GTA IV running on the 8600GT Not the best rig. Not the best card. But I still have NIKO RIDIN’ AND KILLIN’ on this baby!! Hell yeah! xD The game is so bad optimized for PC platform. It could run better, so I hope some patches come up later. Played in 960×600 For the card, I think the MEDIUM textures and MEDIUM/HIGH renders are the best choice (I mean I didn’t test the HIGHEST renders so you try it but it must look not so different men, I dunno …

ahh thats why my gta iv sucks on my computer. i have the un-upgraded version of 8600GT, i think. (im not sp good with graphic cards =)

it will run but not very smooth you have to play on low settings i think..
i recommend 9600GT or 8800GT or higher

hell no. i have 8600gt and i usually use lowest settings but res 1100xsumthing and it lags.
Nah.. maybe on medium..
upgrade the card then you will max it like hell.. renmeber GTA IV is a CPU based game.. so it depends MOSTLY on your CPU.. but you have a great cpu so the only problem now is the card.. it’s a bit out-dated.
do u ever get pissed off when u fall off a building r jump off a bike real fast and hit a building/pillar then hit a trash can and the trash can kills u cas it happened to me loads of times and u think ur goin to survive and ur arm moves and u die lol
you have a realy good pc but your graphic card is pretty weak compared to your other specs…you should change it in about a few months time…(you should run gta iv fine with high settings)…
