ZodTTD of ZodTTD.com here! Following the success of my previous iControlPad video showing snes4iphone, which was recently featured on Engadget.com, I have made this quick video. It shows the iPhone 3gs being charged with the iControlPad as well as some quick examples of the analog nubs in action when playing Wipeout XL and RIdge Racer. Sorry for the lack of audio, the people in my house were being a bit talkative. Remember this is a prototype iControlPad, so the plastics aren’t polished …

Wow, fullspeed, can’t wait to get my hand on this.
But Pandora is apparently finishing up and mine is 2G iPod so.
Guess i should just wait a bit
hahhahahaha, your an ass.
What if I get a call when I’m playing a game with that huge piece of crap, do I pull it up to my ear and look like a dumbfuck?
@kproj lol
Sick but i wanna see how you got it inside and tthe back of it
Just an idea, not sure if it would work, but if you attached hinges to either side of the side pieces, making the whole thing fold in half, it may make it a bit more portable, or easier to stow in a bag.
Do the side parts actually become separate pieces?
Is the iPad in 3 pieces, or do they slide or fold out or something.
If the iPad was one piece I could deal with simply connecting that, but if I have to put together 3 pieces, that’s too much of a hassle just to play a quick game of whatever.
i’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time!!!!! Hope it comes out soon……
probably should come out before duke nukem forever at least… probably
I wish it was out a year ago….
Think I preferred the old design. Don’t see why you couldn’t have moved just the dual thumb-pads to below the screen instead of all of the controls. The new design doesn’t exactly look all that portable.
Hehe tubby hands. Did you eat the old design?
just a thought here you should had used the first one but just added a analoge stick on both side so it would stay compact and you know it was just a thought you guys are doing a awsome job
This is awesome! I have watching this product very carefully and do intend to purchase one. I think that this is going to be a major step in what we are going to see from the iphone/ipod. Can’t wait!

looks like a real solid unit. love the two thumb sticks and the XYAB buttons aren’t mashed together like the old one. very cool.
looks nice and thin, something you could shove in your other pocket or in a bag. obviously if you are making an add on to the iPhone it’s going to add additional bulk to the unit so i don’t know why people are complaining about it.
do you want a tiny little add on made for 3 year old hands or a real unit that can fit adult hands? i can’t stand tiny buttons on phones!
The side parts unclip and it’s left as just the size of the ipad when not on the phone.
The old design was one solid unit.
How are you meant to carry that around?
The website said that the design was changed because “the controls were a bit cramped, plus it was quite large to carry.” This looks even larger to carry…
Take it this is a part time project for the designers, should have been out before christmas.
I assume this isn’t the actual design for the new icontrolpad.
As it doesn’t look very portable and I’m unsure how you could put shoulder buttons on that.
Or does it fold up or something?
Totally psyched for this to come out, can’t wait!
yes but you could have said it a little nicer
two ppl just said it below idiot
when can i by this
and how much is it
Also forgot that the typing of the dead uses a keyboard very well
i cant wait for this … this would help so much
$40 sounds like an amazing price for this
keep up the great work zodtt
