   I dunno. That’s what everyone says, and not to take anything away from Christopher, but I think it more to do with practicality than anything else. They said that there were numerous songs that were either difficult or impossible to play live because of the layering of the vocals. So, two singers, problem solved.

   I KNOW. That drives me insane. I showed my friend an Opeth song the other day, and he told me that he didn’t like it because he doesn’t like listening to “screamo”.

   Calling music with screaming “screamo” is like calling music with singing “singo”. It makes no sense!

   It’s not because they couldn’t find one guy who can do all Christian could do. Lars is actually very good at deep growling, you know. They hired two vocalists to be able to perform the songs from Holographic universe live. If you listen to some of them you’ll see that it’s impossible for a single singer to pull them off live.

    Go down and click view all comments and you can see where someone involved a question in their comment about inquiring about the genre “screamo”. Someone first replied by giving bad information and then I gave accurate information. From that point some random arguments spewed forth. If you use comments often you’ll understand how these things usually work and resolve themselves. Once you comment on the string of replies everyone is sent a notice about it too. This will continue sadly.

Just take the time to actually look into what the genre really is and its completely not any of that garbage.     In those many years, you haven’t realize what a genre is and what isn’t.
    I listened to Deathcore/Grindcore/etc for about 4 years, and by discovering real music , i mean dropping that bullshit Hardcore and moving on to what inspired it.

    Ie; At The Gates; Inspired almost every deathcore band.

    I have no idea who Wintersun is and I’m only on this video because a friend of mine wanted me to check it out but I’m not saying I don’t know Death Metal.

    A genre can have a lot more than one simple sound, but apparently that’s too hard for you to comprehend.

    Ie; Dethklok compared to Wintersun.
    They’re both Melodeath but they sound extremely different.

    Post hardcore huh? Quicksand is a Post-Hardcore band and last I remember. You’d put up Saetia to Quicksand? REALLY?! You’re a pretentious douche and I feel you don’t know anything. Please feel free to inform the owner of Slave Union records that his band as well as the bands he puts out are Post-Hardcore. I’m sure he’ll appreciate the correction.
