SynthGlove (prototype)

This is my first attempt at using Power Glove as a musical instrument. I made a small circuit using Arduino which converts finger movements into MIDI CC messages. I’m planning to add an accelerometer to replace ultrasonic sensors which is embedded in the original Power Glove.

    アホなことを本気でやっちゃうところがすごい。かっこいいです。とくにè指のéの変化が気持ちよくてウズウズしちゃう。MIDIコントローラーだから更にクレージーなこともできるわけで、ライティングとかèèçなものを制御したりとか、そういう可è性も含めてすごいです。denkiさんの動çをèてelectribeをèっちゃいました。いつも楽しませてもらってます。

    Really impressive work ! I really admire your skill.

    About the tech work, I wouldnt discourage you about the accelerometers (which are cool toys to play with), but usually the tech in gloves involves resistive effects, or even (on more expensive units) light fiber.
    By the way being an EE myself, I’d me more than glad to help you on any project – if you need any help, of course ;)

    Ah yes, you’re right i guess, good thinking. I almost never use any of the midi-effects which is probably why I didn’t recognize it.

    Heatbox actually uses one on stage to tweak out his vocals. It’s pretty sweet haha
