This shows the Pandora Prototype Case parts, including the assembling. Unfortunately, my ribbon cable broke so I can’t show it running. But I’ll get a new one soon!

Yeah, if you want Windows and you’re going to carry all that external battery crap anyway, just get like a netbook or something..
Yeah I knew that for over a year and I also like pandora form factor but however you can use a\
Battery Geek Portable Power Station or a BG 15-21-130 External Laptop Battery and i don’t like linux so if i have a pandora i will good form and gameing with joystick but i have fricken linux i like play all kinda of game and ux can handle suddenattack and runescape and WOW and runes of magic crossfire etc
and way cpu more and gpu!
but then again maybe i should get a laptop i have ext. bat. or vest
Yeah but I think the Pandora will have a longer battery life. x86 UMPCs haven’t impressed me on battery life, the Pandora is supposed to last about 12 hours.
and the UX can even handle halo
i think sony ux is better cuz i can go in the pocket and it can handle dx9 games on low and maybe med detail

What ever happened to getting the new LCD cable?
Because they’re not a huge corporation that owns their own factories.
There’s some communication overheard, and they’re still making sure the prototypes are just right before they send it to production.

The credit card thing wasn’t their fault, the credit card companies didn’t think it would actually ship, so they refused to hand over the money.
“They” want to use credit cards, but it didn’t work out.
I gave up and bought a eee pc netbook, not quite as portable and not specifically for gaming but at least it exists and with some warantee and some consumer protection credit cards afford.
I agree with you. Hate to say it Pandora lovers, but it looks like about another year until the Pandora is released. By that time another company will probably have something better.
Tons of people put in orders back in OCTOBER i think, and these guys still havent managed to produce it for distribution, Plus they want everybody to bank transfer non refundable money instead of using credit cards… what ever happened to german efficencey.

88MB of RAM, 3MB of texture / video RAM
2GB of SD storage
Pandora:
256MB shared RAM
up to 64GB dual SD storage, plus USB hard disks, plus network shares.
The graphics are probably a bit better too, though that also depends on which console has better programmers.
well it’s hard to judge what is more powerful with different types of cpus, but it has Wii beat in every measurable way – storage, memory, connectivity… and it definitely wins in flexibility.

I don’t know if it’s more powerful than the Wii but it’s definitely a generation ahead of the DS and the PSP. It’s probably something like the original XBox, but I think the shaders are better, and it has a lot more memory, so it can multitask and play video really easily and fun stuff like that.
You can get a device more powerful than any smartphone with 256MB of RAM, 2 SD slots, and a full Linux operating system for 30 UK pounds, no strings attached?
