Oktober 2004 Hier prügeln sich Digimon der ersten bis vierten Staffel im Stile von Super Smash Bros. aus dem Ring – Als Digimon-Fan ärgert es natürlich etwas, dass das ganze Level-System der Serien über den Haufen geworfen wurde und selbst zwischen Rookie-Digimon und Mega-Digimon der größte Unterschied in den Äußerlichkeiten besteht. Auch wer zu wem digitiert, scheint fast schon willkürlich einprogrammiert worden zu sein… Aber nehmen wir das nicht so eng. Digimon Rumble Arena, egal welcher Teil, muss sich natürlich immer den Vergleich mit Super Smash Bros. gefallen lassen – Und dieser Vergleich wirkt nahezu vernichtend für die digitalen Monster. Auch wenn ich anno 2004 ein paar Tage wirklich Spaß hatte und es mit Freunden einen Abend auch mal rocken kann – Hier fehlt schon etwas, was das Spiel versucht, mit dem Charme der beliebten Digimon wieder wettzumachen.
