Trotz technischer Unterlegenheit. Nun enthüllt der Konzern Details zur Nachfolgerkonsole Wii U – und setzt damit Sony sowie Microsoft unter Druck.

Es gibt eine neue Modellrevision der Xbox 360, mit kleinerem CPU Die, was weniger heiß wird.
Später wird auch das GPU Die verkleinert.
Hierbei bleibt aber die Leistung der Xbox dieselbe. Das heißt, selbst mit den neuen Chips kann die neue Xbox 360 nicht mehr oder weniger als die jetzige Xbox 360.
Was der Nachfolger der jetzigen 360 kann, steht noch in den Sternen, da Microsoft sich auf einen längeren Produktzyklus für die 360 eingerichtet hat.
Geh mal davon aus, das erst nach 2010 erste Pläne und Vermutungen für den Nachfolger der Xbox 360 kommen werden. Immerhin gibt es zur Zeit keine ernsthafte Konkurrenz für die 360. Warum sollte Microsoft also versuchen etwas besseres zu machen, wenn die 360 schon das derzeit beste System ist?
